Services

Coronary Angiography and Angioplasty

To confirm the blockages in the arteries, Coronary angiography is a 5 minute procedure which is performed through the wrist and patients are usually discharged on the same day. Coronary Angiography is a gold standard for diagnosis of artery blockage.

Left Main Angioplasty

Left main was conventionally thought to be a surgical disease however Dr. Gupta has been doing Left vein angioplasty (Bifurcation and Trifurcation) with very satisfying results under OCT and IVUS guidance with minimal complications. Left vein angioplasty is offered to those who are surgical candidates and CABG was denied due to high surgical risk or comorbidity..

Pacemaker Implantation

Patients with slow/high heart rates; Not only single or double chambers advanced pacemakers like ICD and CRT-D for low heart pumping patients on routine basis is implanted.

Alcohol Septal Ablation for HOCM

A Non-surgical procedure to treat hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Large septal artery is occluded by injecting 100% absolute alcohol to create an heart attack inside the cath lab in order to decrease blood supply of thick muscles causing obstruction of blood flow.

PFO Closure in paradoxical embolism

Foramen Ovale is a normal hole in the womb but this hole closes on its own at the time of birth. At times, this hole persists and becomes a cause of passage of clots from leg vein to the heart into the brain leading to stroke. By occluding this hole, brain stroke is prevented in DVT patients. These are very uncommonly reported cases.

Renal Angioplasty

Blockages in the kidney arteries are readily reversible cause of uncontrolled hypertension if evaluated and treated the blood pressure can be controlled effeciently

Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO)

Blockages in the heart arteries which are 100% and are very old , challenging cases which require lot of skill and patience. We have very good outcome of our CTO patients and success rate is very high. We perform coronary as well as peripheral CTO by antegrade and retrograde techniques.

Very High Risk surgical patient Angioplasty

Patients with severe kidney disease, very poor heart pumping and very high risk for open heart surgery are challenging and requires lot of skill and experience.

Valvular Heart Disease

TAVI/TAVR - Non surgical replacement of Aortic valve. Conventionally the open surgery was done to change the diseased aortic valve but nowadays TAVI is performed in high and moderate risk patients on routine basis.

Angioplasty in Erectile Dysfunction

A gush of blood flow is required for normal erection to happen. Diabetic, hypertension and geriatric patients with blockages have Erectile Dysfunction. This condition is very common however very less reported. The angioplasty of the internal pudendal artery is performed to restore the normal blood flow to the male genital.

Calcified Arteries

Breaking calcium has been challenging for long, conventionally rotabalation (drilling) is used however nowadays lithotripsy (IVL) is used which is safer and provides wonderful results.

Non Invasive Cardiology

All types of non invasive procedures like ECG, 2D Echo, Stress Echo, Treadmill test, Holter monitoring, Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) and transesophageal Echocardiography.

Bifurcation and Trifurcation Lesions

When dealing with main and side branch, we secure sufficient and equal blood flow to all the branches so that no artery is compromised. Dr. Gupta has been invited on international platforms to talk about series of Bifurcation and Trifurcation.

Peripheral Interventions in Non Healing Diabetic Foot Ulcer

In Diabetic patients the foot ulcer are very common and healing is delayed  due to very poor blood supply to the leg. In those situations by performing complex peripheral angioplasty we ensure good blood supply to the legs and feet to help the wound to heal. Mostly Dr. Gupta uses his own technique (RG techniques) which has much better success rate than conventional angioplasty. At times retrograde technique (trans PEDAL) is also used to open the CTO's.

AAA Endovascular Graft Repair (TAVR)

The dilated aorta in the form of aneurysm has a very high risk of perforations thereby we perform stenting in these aneurysms by pyajama stenting (Endovascular graft repair) , and at times it requires fenestration to preserve the kidney arteries.

Device Closures

Birth holes which may be detected later on in life can lead to irreversible heart damage. We have expertise in ASD, VSD, PDA non surgically.

Carotid Angioplasty

Angioplasty of Carotid artery done with Distal protection device (filter) to prevent small clots travel to brain during angioplasty.

Cardiology Consultation

In Cardiology, adequate time is given to patient with diligent listening to provide efficient diagnosis.
